Exciting news!! RGISC, in conjunction with @lisdlaredo and @texasforestservice are happy to announce that we have been awarded a much needed tree canopy grant to create a greener environment for our schools!
This grant will help fund tree-centric projects at 8 local LISD schools to create a greener future for all, especially our students!! A boost in native trees, increased outdoor learning and play opportunities, and a respite from the heat are all benefits we will see with this incredible initiative!
A press conference will take place Monday, April 22 at 9 am in the LISD Administration Building Foyer at 2400 San Bernardo Ave.
