The Rio Grande International Study Center (RGISC), in partnership with Texas Parks & Wildlife, invites community members to a morning of environmental stewardship at Lake Casa Blanca. This community service event offers a great opportunity to learn key environmental principles while actively working to preserve local natural areas by cleaning up park trails and the lake shoreline.

Volunteer Guidelines and Participation Details

• Who Can Join: Students of all grade levels are welcome to participate. Please note that volunteers under the age of 18 require permission from a parent or guardian.
• What to Wear and Bring: Participants should come prepared with closed-toe shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle.
• What is Provided: Gloves, trash bags, and a mandatory safety briefing will be provided to all volunteers on-site before starting the cleanup.
