The Rio Grande International Study Center (RGISC) invites the public to attend the 2nd Community Workshop on Air Quality, a binational event focused on understanding and improving air quality in the U.S.–Mexico border region.
Titled “Air Has No Borders — and Neither Should Solutions,” this workshop brings together air quality experts, researchers, and community members from Massachusetts, Washington, D.C., California, and Monterrey to share data, case studies, and practical solutions to regional air quality challenges.
Air pollution does not recognize borders, making cross-border collaboration essential. This community workshop is designed to help participants better understand local air quality data, explore air sensor mapping, and learn from successful air quality initiatives, including case studies from California.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with experts, ask questions, and discuss how communities can work together to build a healthier future.
