Get Ready for Our Annual Dia Del Rio Restoration!

Volunteer to restore and beautify Laredo’s oldest nature trail!

Saturday, October 8
Paso del Indio Nature Trail
(Behind the Environmental Science Center)
1 West End Washington St.
8:00 am to 12:00 pm
*Check-in starts at 7:30 am*

 

Tasks include:

  • Clearing of the trail
  • Cutting overhanging branches
  • Painting planters
  • Planting native plants

Recommended:

  • Outdoor work clothing with light colors, closed-toe shoes or boots, hat for sun protection
  • Please wear SPF and bug spray
  • Community service hours will be provided
