Daniel Nicholson serves as RGISC’s Chief Operating and Human Resources Officer, strengthening the organization’s financial management, people practices, operating systems, and fundraising capacity. A Laredo native, Daniel earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Business from the University of Texas at Austin. He brings nearly two decades of entrepreneurial and executive leadership experience scaling mission-driven organizations. Since joining RGISC, Daniel has helped professionalize internal operations, strengthen organizational sustainability, and evolve its fundraising strategy, pioneering RGISC’s first fall fundraising campaign, bringing together Noche de Naturaleza and the Drive the Future RGISC Fall Fundraising Raffle. He is passionate about expanding RGISC’s impact and building a healthier, more sustainable future for his hometown and the Rio Grande.
