The Laredo Center for the Arts (LC4A) is proud to announce the welcoming reception and exhibition of visual art curated by native Laredo Artist, Gil Rocha. The opening reception will be on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the LC4A located at 500 San Agustin Ave. The Border is a Weapon is presented by the Other Border Wall Project. This event is free and open to the public.
With support from RGISC and other partners, The Border is a Weapon Exhibition will feature month-long programming including an Artist Talk with Gil Rocha on Saturday, July 2, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and a special screening of The Southern Front, a documentary by Carlos Evaristo Flores on Thursday, July 7 at the LC4A (time TBA).
